I decided to come on over and blog about what is going on with the family because it is a bit more simple to post family items here than it is on the Carepage we set up for Daniel. It is also a bit more easy to access for my family members that have a hard time with some of the other sites because of their complexity. Some of it may be a repeat of our carepages should you read that as well, so please be patient, I will learn to try to separate the two and put different pictures up for everyone to see!
Daniel is still in the hospital, unfortunately. Today was a very rough day for him too! He spiked a fever last night of 101.9 which means that he was in no way shape or form coming home today. Though even besides that Daniel was somber and quiet. He did have a platelet transfusion, a massive headache and was complaining of leg pains so on top of it, lortab was given to off set some of his chemo medication he did get yesterday as well. I am praying that he will be able to come home on Friday! There is so much to do and a very little time to do it over the next few months.
The end of April represents three things. My birthday, Daniel's year anniversary of his Leukemia, and my very first Conference in Mo for our Church. I am so excited! After that we are packing and getting ready.. for another big event...
Our time in Charlotte NC is coming to an end very soon. While our time here has been enjoyable and we have grown closer as a family unit and grown closer to our Father, it is time for me to grow even more and learn how to serve my God in what ever path has been chosen for me. I am excited and nervous all the same to be going to seminary and moving to Wa. for a few years. The other excitement also comes for what comes after seminary.. and that is to be able to see what the Lord has planned for our family.
Anyways, short and sweet tonight as I will be up early to get my husband off to work and myself to the hospital. This being Taylin's spring break for school, her best friends mom offered to take her over night and keep her til tomorrow evening so she could have some fun away from the hospital! We have a good support system here and I am so very grateful for my church family and friends that I have made since August. With God all things are possible! ... I was unsure how it would all work when I came, but I have brothers and sisters in Christ that are there come rain or sunshine. I love them all and couldn't be more appreciative of them.
