Exciting things are happening around us!

It is amazing how things just fall right into place. We had our head Pastor here this past weekend for a fellowship meeting with the other churches in North Carolina and it was just a blessing. To be able to be around such amazing people and the conversations of our brothers and sisters in Christ, Praise God!

I had to laugh, I was talking to my cousin the other day who referred to me as the "religious lady" lol .. kinda made me laugh but I am completely okay with being known as that. Especially if it means that she may come to understand what salvation means and who our Father is.

On other news, Daniel had his second appointment on maintenance today. His counts were wonderful and we are getting everything in order to start moving over the next month. We also had news that I am expecting another child, which will postpone my first semester at seminary, but Praise God, I will still be able to go once the baby turns 1 years old. It allows me to have the first year to get him or her settled and then a bed time regimen set for my husband with all three kids. haha and give me a break! In a way anyways.

Icky, our little addition is settling in quite nicely. He is now beginning to spread his wings so to speak. Though the poor baby will be getting sniped this week. He goes in for neutering and will be getting 6 baby teeth extracted at the same time! Figure its better to do that now than wait until we got to AZ. We don't want any puppies coming around from our sweet Icky. We like him just as he is ... (he still pees like a female dog, no lifting the leg! LOL)

Back from our Confrence and WOW, what an amazing Trip!!!! Praise God!

As nervous as I was to go to conference and be around so many different people that I have never met, it never ceases to amaze me the family unity within my church. I am so excited to be a part of New Testament Church and on the right team! It was a week of praising our Father, hearing so many different Preachers stand and give their sermons, Fellowship, exploring, and having the fire of the Holy Ghost present!! I am still so thrilled even at home. We left last Saturday and returned today and just WOW! Bible studies in the car, singing, dancing and praise and fellowship. I was also able to meet so many of my husbands old military friends who are also ministers! I am so thrilled and excited to get to Graham to start Seminary that I can not even place it into words. However, I am just as thrilled with what comes afterwards and being out in the world to work for the Ministry.

We also have a new member of our family as of today as well! Today we picked up our youngest member of the family named Icky. Yes .. I can only imagine what you are thinking! haha But Icky is an 8 month old Toy Rat Terrior. As cute as he is, he is also a whiner .. wanting to be under hand and feet every step of the way, but a sweet and adorable little t hing weighing in at about 6-7 pounds. He is a type A which means he is the type that is very tall but wow is this boy skinnyyy! He came from a loving home that had other larger dogs .. but maybe he did not ghet as much to eat as he should have?? lol This little thing can eat!!!! HA Ha! As much as my husband says .. it's my dog, he even came over to assist me giving Icky a bath and helped me dry him up as much as possible as well so they have now formed a bond! Icky has followed my husband everywhere he could if he was around, if he is not, then I am the second choice! lol He knows and learned fast who the head of the house hold is! Not a single complaint though.. it will make things easier for years to come... training a dog can be tough if that aspect is missed! :-)

Anyways, I am a bit tired but will post pictures tomorrow .. we had the opportunity to visit the caves that Mark Twain wrote about in his books! An awsome experience to actually see what was written about and get some more detailed information on Mark Twain and his stories... as well as an understanding that it was also a Jesse James hide out! There was a place in which he even signed his name in the cave!!!
