As nervous as I was to go to conference and be around so many different people that I have never met, it never ceases to amaze me the family unity within my church. I am so excited to be a part of New Testament Church and on the right team! It was a week of praising our Father, hearing so many different Preachers stand and give their sermons, Fellowship, exploring, and having the fire of the Holy Ghost present!! I am still so thrilled even at home. We left last Saturday and returned today and just WOW! Bible studies in the car, singing, dancing and praise and fellowship. I was also able to meet so many of my husbands old military friends who are also ministers! I am so thrilled and excited to get to Graham to start Seminary that I can not even place it into words. However, I am just as thrilled with what comes afterwards and being out in the world to work for the Ministry.
We also have a new member of our family as of today as well! Today we picked up our youngest member of the family named Icky. Yes .. I can only imagine what you are thinking! haha But Icky is an 8 month old Toy Rat Terrior. As cute as he is, he is also a whiner .. wanting to be under hand and feet every step of the way, but a sweet and adorable little t hing weighing in at about 6-7 pounds. He is a type A which means he is the type that is very tall but wow is this boy skinnyyy! He came from a loving home that had other larger dogs .. but maybe he did not ghet as much to eat as he should have?? lol This little thing can eat!!!! HA Ha! As much as my husband says .. it's my dog, he even came over to assist me giving Icky a bath and helped me dry him up as much as possible as well so they have now formed a bond! Icky has followed my husband everywhere he could if he was around, if he is not, then I am the second choice! lol He knows and learned fast who the head of the house hold is! Not a single complaint though.. it will make things easier for years to come... training a dog can be tough if that aspect is missed! :-)
Anyways, I am a bit tired but will post pictures tomorrow .. we had the opportunity to visit the caves that Mark Twain wrote about in his books! An awsome experience to actually see what was written about and get some more detailed information on Mark Twain and his stories... as well as an understanding that it was also a Jesse James hide out! There was a place in which he even signed his name in the cave!!!
